Tulare is located in the heart of California's Central Valley which, as a leader in the nation's agriculture, is home to a rich farm heritage. In 1992 the first California Antique Farm Equipment Show was held to help keep that history alive. Five years later the show had grown to attract collectors from across the United States, bringing in their antique tractors, engines, and implements once state-of-the-art in soil cultivation. This video documents that growth with a huge tractor parade, antique equipment auction, craftmen demonstrations, an antique tractor pull and finishes up with a plowing demonstration featuring a team of 16 draft horses.
